A recent report claims Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have been living separately for more than a year now. The couple is reportedly heading for a split after being together for seven years. But, this story has been debunked and proved to be an inaccurate claim.
NW Magazine reported Mendes and Gosling were just hanging by a thread now, and although they share two kids, the two allegedly have a little in common. The outlet cited a so-called source who claims the couple doesn't spend much time together and they haven't seen going out on date nights for months.
Allegedly, Mendes was always at home taking care of their children, while Gosling was always busy and working most of the time. The unnamed source added the actor only stays at home for a short period of time and he seems miserable whenever he's there.
To further support its claim, the alleged insider asserted Gosling was recently seen in Los Angeles grabbing lunch while holding a sheet of papers. The outlet insisted these papers were legal documents and he's planning to file a divorce. But, it's worth mentioning Mendes and Gosling aren't married, so it's unlikely he's holding legal documents to file a divorce. He's more likely holding a script.
Yet, the tabloid maintains people are speculating the two are heading for a split, and they could be facing legal battles over their assets, as well as their kids. The untraceable source continues saying the relationship of the couple has been really shaky, and their close friends are worried they might call it quits at some point.
According to Gossip Cop, this report is entirely fabricated and inaccurate. In fact, Mendes and Gosling were spotted a few weeks ago hiking in LA along with their two daughters. Moreover, if the couple has been living separately for more than a year, then why they were photographed house hunting in Pasadena last April? Thus, the tabloid's claim is really suspicious.
In an interview with E! News, Mendes also gushed about Gosling and their children. When she was asked how she can balance motherhood and her career as an actress and designer, she answered she has a "strong support system."
Meanwhile, this story about Gosling and Mendes heading for a split isn't new anymore. In October 2017, Gossip Cop debunked the claim of National Enquirer where it wrongly reported the actor dumped his girlfriend and he moved out of their home. And prior to that story, Star magazine reported in the couple broke up because of Emma Stone. None of these claims even happened, so this latest claim is similarly false as well.
