Electra Jailbreak updated three times in one day to resolve A7, A8, and Kernel Panic issues.

This could be something really new as the Electra Team updated the Electra Jailbreak three times on Thursday, January 31 in just a few hours interval. The latest among the three updates makes its two predecessors obsolete not even making it to its first day.

The I Download Blog hinted that the Electra Team just executed their latest Electra Jailbreak bringing the version 1.2.7 on the scene. Their back to back iOS 11-centric jailbreak tool was released just a few hours ago and was immediately made obsolete due to issues encountered as the updates went along.

The two former Electra Jailbreak updates encountered several problems, one of which and the latest was the Kernel Panic issue. Problems with A7 and A8 devices were the first problems encountered along the way. The three consecutive updates, on the other hand, bring real good news to A7 and A8 users on iOS 11 from 11.0 to 11.4.1.

Users are suggested to download the latest version of the jailbreak tool from the Electra Team's official website.

According to the Tweeter status update posted by Electra, the changelog on the Electra version 1.2.7 is that to fix a bug in v1ntex that resulted in a kernel panic later in Step 2 and to actually test on an A7 device on 11.4. A7 devices are a 64-bit system on a chip (SoC) that has twice the graphics power compared to those A6 devices.

A7 was first used on iPhone 5s. A8, on the other hand, are 64-bit ARM-based system on a chip (SoC) that has 50% more graphics performance, 25% more CPU performance and uses only 50% of the A& power.

Hours before the version 1.2.7, Electra had the Electra Jailbreak version 1.2.6. Its purpose was for the offsetfinder path issue for A7 & A8 devices on 11.4-11.4.1, sandbox issues causing app crash on A7 & A8 devices on 11.4-11.4.1 and post-exploitation (stage 2) failures on A7 & A8 devices on 11.2 - 11.4.1 fixes.

On Thursday morning Electra announced Electra Jailbreak version 1.2.3 which was the first among the three updates with the official support made available for A7 and A8 devices. The update was to welcome devices such as iPhone 5S, 6(Plus), iPod touch 6, iPad Air 1 & 2, and iPad mini 2, 3 & 4 to the Electra Jailbreak community.

Electra's first Tweeter post about the jailbreak said that in order for the Jailbreak to be made available for all devices on iOS 11.4-11.4.1 they used v1ntex to replace tihmstar's threadm1ll exploit which was only supporting up to 4K devices, according to I Clarified.
