Airpower is found as one of the iPhone XS Smart Battery Case description reference chargers.

The AirPower fever lives on as another hint that the wireless charging pad mat could come to reality soon. AirPower hopefuls are now looking at the Smart Battery Case website description in Malaysia wherein the AirPower was not just lined up among compatible iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR compatible chargers but was mentioned first on the list followed by the other Qi-certified chargers.

9 to 5 Mac hinted that the Smart Battery case website description bearing the AirPower compatibility was aired on the Apple Store app on Tuesday when the Smart Battery Case for iPhone XS went live. The description lasted for a few moments and remained for readers to see until the dawn of Wednesday and was later replaced by a description no longer bearing the AirPower description.

A part of the product information specifically said that the Smart Battery Case is compatible with AirPower Wireless Charging Mat and other Qi-certified chargers. It also said there that you can charge your iPhone and battery case simultaneously for an increased talk time of 26 hours, internet use of up to 22 hours on LTE and even longer audio and video playback.

The AirPower referenced on iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR Smart Battery Case can now be seen on Malaysian Apple store alone. Upon checking MacRumors found out that case description from the United States and other countries mentioned the Battery Case compatibility with Qi-certified chargers and no longer contain any AirPower mention. Readers believe that Apple could have just forgotten to remove the mention from the Malaysian store metadata.

Rumors are spreading that the above-mentioned posting irregularity of AirPower on the Apple Store app allegedly took place due to the delays in the Wireless Charging Mat's release. The pad was expected to be released in 2018 and for some reasons mentioned on previous reports, Apple removed all the mentions of it from their website with no word if the product will continue production or will, unfortunately, end up in cancellation.

In spite of the Apple news blackout about the AirPower, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR continued to reference the Wireless Charging Mat giving the anticipators a sense of hope that it is just a delay in production due to some reported technical problems that the company is facing with the product but AirPower will still be available in the market sometime soon, according to Mac Rumors
