Matt Reeves' Batman movie will soon hit theaters and the biggest news is that Ben Affleck will not be returning as Bruce Wayne. Reeves is reportedly tapping a new and younger actor to take the role of Batman, and it seems like pop star Nick Jonas wants to be the next DC superhero.

Hypebeast recently posted a photo update, tagging Affleck will be hanging up his role as Batman. The upcoming movie The Batman directed by Reeves will focus on younger Bruce Wayne, and they're reportedly casting a new member to take over the role. The post added the movie will likely be released on June 25, 2021.

Looking at the comment section, a lot of fans share their thoughts and opinion on who will be playing The Dark Night. But, one particular comment caught the attention of many - Nick Jonas' comment. The pop star wrote, "First name Nick," then added, "Last name Jonas", hinting he wants to be the next Batman.

Although he seems to be just having a bit of fun by plugging himself, some agreed he's a perfect fit for the role, while others think he's not. Aside for Jonas, it was previously speculated that Jack O'Connell - who played the role of Cook on Skins - will be the next Bruce Wayne in Reeves' film.

But as of the moment, there's no words and confirmation who will replace Affleck as Batman. A lot of rumors are running around the Internet, but Warner Bros. and DC aren't hinting any clues about their official decision, or who's the possible actor to take over the role of the superhero.

Meanwhile, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Reeves described his take on the next Batman movie and said the DC superhero will be on his detective mode.

"He's supposed to be the world's greatest detective, and that's not necessarily been a part of what the movies have been," he said. Reeves added he wants to allow Batman's character on the next film to track down criminals and solve crimes, so he can go through a transformation.

The Batman will reportedly hit the big screen on June 25, 2021.
