Kit Harington paid the price for spoiling the end of "Game of Thrones" season 8 for his wife. Rose Leslie apparently didn't talk to him for three days since he revealed what would happen in the series after they finished filming in 2018.

The actor shared this tidbit during a radio interview in the U.K., according to Entertainment Tonight. He thought it was pretty funny since his wife, who was part of the show from season 2 to 4, was actually the one who asked how everything would end.

"Game of Thrones" season 8 wrapped production around October last year. Harington tried hard to avoid knowing the details of the finale until the actual table read with the rest of the cast.

Harington said that he's doesn't know if he's happy or sad about the ending. What he's certain of, however, is that the "Game of Thrones" series finale will be a groundbreaking event for television.

Fans predict that Harington's Jon Snow and Lena Headey's Cersei Lannister will end up getting married in "Game of Thrones" season 8. The pairing is apparently necessary to unite the North and the South against their biggest enemy, the Night King and his undead army.

According to a fan theory, it's not farfetched that Jon Snow would agree to marry the most hated woman in Westeros because it's for the greater good. Cersei, on the other hand, might be pushed to marry Jon Snow in order to win favor from her people when she's clearly disliked.

But another theory suggests Jon Snow could die at the end of the series. Apparently, Daenerys (Emilia Clark) is meant to kill him to temper the Lightbringer, Azor Ahai's legendary sword, which is the only weapon that could kill the Night King.

Meanwhile, Harington also said that he's not going to be in the "Game of Thrones" prequel that will take over the slot of the mother series. He'd rather be watching the new show and he said that he's looking forward to it once it airs on HBO next year.

The prequel, which stars Naomi Watts, takes place some 800 years before the events of "Game of Thrones." The plot has been a well-guarded secret but fans are guessing it will actually be about the story of Azor Ahai.

"Game of Thrones" debuted on HBO in 2011 and has become the most popular series in the world. The show also stars Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
