This story, however, only comes from an outlet known for creating false narratives involving the estranged spouses. This recent claim has been debunked, which also contradicts its previous reports about the two.
Recently, Jolie and Pitt were spotted having a tense conversation in a Beverly Hills office, which was reported by several celebrity news outlets. Now, HollywoodLife concocted this story and wrote a new report claiming the meeting between the ex-spouses left the actress "emotional."
According to the so-called source of the tabloid, Jolie still misses Pitt and she's really disappointed over their failed marriage. It's worth mentioning that the same outlet has been repeatedly citing an alleged insider claiming the actress misses her ex-husband, but those stories were already dismissed. Additionally, separate reps for Jolie and Pitt already said that no one in their inner circle revealed what's happening about their personal lives.
HollywoodLife already has a record of publishing false tales involving Jolie, as per Gossip Cop. For instance, the outlet reported last year the actress was in a "secret relationship" with a "mystery man," but the tabloid is now claiming she misses Pitt. And prior to that story, the same outlet maintained the actress was allegedly dating Jared Leto. Yet, none of these claims even happened.
The tabloid also reported just a few months ago that Jolie regretted having a relationship with Pitt and she wanted him out of her life. At that time, an unnamed source said the days of the actress missing her ex have well and truly passed. But now, it's claiming she misses her ex-husband and disappointed over their failed marriage. Cleary, the previous and current reports of the outlet contradicted each other, making both claims purely fabricated.
The truth is, according to Gossip Cop, Jolie doesn't regret having a relationship with Pitt as they grew a family together, but their marriage fell apart and both of them already moved on now. The photos captured from the Beverly Hills office do not also show the actress misses her estranged husband, and in fact, there's still somehow a bit of hostility between them.
Back in August, Jolie also expressed she wanted to be divorced from Pitt by the end of 2018, but that didn't work out. Still, she's been pushing ahead to end their marriage, so it's unlikely she still misses her ex-husband and disappointed over their failed marriage.
