Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are not planning to make a blockbuster movie together, despite the claim of a new report. This story has been debunked and proved to be a made-up report.
NW magazine reported Holmes wants to co-star with Foxx in an action film, where they will play as a couple. According to an unnamed source of the outlet, the two are planning to make a "full Hollywood blockbuster," acting as husband and wife. They were allegedly talking to best scriptwriters in Hollywood for a perfect plot - like how Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt did with Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
The alleged insider added this also a perfect opportunity for them as they really love the idea of working together every day for a year. Holmes is also hoping that through this movie, her career will boost again.
"Hitching herself to Jamie in more ways than one is the perfect opportunity," the unknown insider contends.
But, a source close to the situation confirmed to Gossip Cop that the tabloid's claim is purely fabricated. The reliable source made sure Foxx and Holmes aren't planning to make a movie together. The couple has been private about their relationship, so it's suspicious the "insider" of the NW magazine have knowledge about the supposed "blockbuster action film" they're planning to make.
Last December, People magazine also reported the relationship of the two is evolving and getting "more serious" as they were photographed on several date nights, as well as romantic getaways. The pair, however, hasn't acknowledged in public they're dating and don't consider themselves a couple in a traditional sense. So, the claim they want to make a movie together to show their relationship on the big screen is unlikely and they weren't even talking about it in interviews as well.
It's also worth noting many reputable Hollywood news outlets always break the news about upcoming films, but not a single publication reported Holmes and Foxx's were planning to star in a movie together. Thus, the tabloid has little to zero insight about the two, particularly about their career plans.
Furthermore, Gossip Cop busted the outlet just last month for wrongly reporting the couple was expecting a baby together. And in November, the same tabloid claimed Holmes and Foxx were planning to get married in Paris. Both reports weren't even mentioned in this latest narrative. And regardless, a rep already confirmed the two weren't doing a Hollywood blockbuster.
