Abby Lee Miller warns everyone to watch out for her return to "Dance Moms: Resurrection." Despite her battle against cancer, the 52-year-old star is ready to face another fight on the small screen.
In a new trailer Lifetime dropped for "Dance Moms: Resurrection," Abby Lee Miller talked about her struggles in having cancer. "In an instant, your life changes completely," she said, per People, while lying in a hospital bed in a raw video.
Abby Lee Miller revealed she was ready to return to work and start her life over again after all the controversies, but now she couldn't even walk. But despite all the hardships, the legendary dance choreographer revealed how she managed to regain her strength to do what she loves the most - to teach children to dance in "Dance Moms: Resurrection."
"I need to get back to teaching, and I need to get back to screaming at children," Abby Lee Miller said. The dance instructress continued to say she needed to get back to her roots and take the kids "right back to the turf" in "Dance Moms: Resurrection."
While sitting on her wheelchair, Abby Lee Miller meets the new team of dancers for "Dance Moms: Resurrection." She told them there were people who counted her out, thought she was done and considered Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) dead. But, she fought hard to make her triumphant return and asked the kids to be a fighter like her.
"You have to fight to get those legs straight, fight to get better feet, you have to fight to be a champion," Abby Lee Miller advised them. She went on to say she has her personal goals, but she also has goals for the "Dance Moms: Resurrection" team. She also said she needed to be ready for their first competition and show ALDC is back.
According to Yahoo, Abby Lee Miller's life changed when she was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, an aggressive form of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. It is also a rare type of cancer that affects the body's blood and immune system.
Abby Lee Miller's diagnosis came after her back surgery in April 2018 after the doctors thought she had a rare spinal infection. After the analysis, she underwent two more operations, chemotherapy, and therapy to learn to walk again.
In "Dance Moms: Resurrection" trailer, Abby Lee Miller also talked about her chemotherapy and using a wig after her hair loss due to medication. The show would be out in June on Lifetime.
