After "Encounter" with Song Hye Kyo, Park Bo Gum is now the man of the hour. Aside from his interviews here and there, there are new rumors the 25-year-old actor is in talks to lead the movie "Seo Bok" with Gong Yoo.
Park Bo Gum may return to the silver screen with Gong Yoo in "Seo Bok." The news outlet OSEN reported, via AllKpop, that the "Hello Monster" star is already confirmed to join the movie. "He received an offer [for 'Seo Bok'] and is positively reviewing it," the actor's representative said.
"Seo Bok" will tell the story of a former intelligence agent Ki Heon (Gong Yoo). He will be caught between the dangerous incidents that involve mankind's first human clone Seo Bok and the forces who want to possess it.
Earlier reports revealed Park Bo Gum got the offer to play the lead role of Seo Bok. So with the recent news, it looks like fans are about to see him as the human clone in the movie.
It will be the first time that Park Bo Gum and Gong Yoo will be working on a big screen. "Seo Bok," too, will be the 39-year-old actor's comeback movie project after three years. Soompi reported the film would be directed by Lee Yoo Joo, who is also behind the famed 2012 film "Architecture 101."
Meanwhile, Park Bo Gum is looking forward to collaborating with BTS's V as he already proved he also has a talent in singing. The "Reply 1988" star showed off his vocal skills by singing one his previous dramas' official soundtrack (OST). He also wanted to grow this field of his career by releasing an album and join musical events and shows.
"I should give him a call. We recently met up to grab food, and we told each other to have strength," Park Bo Gum said about his possible collaboration with BTS's V. "He's currently busy with his tour. I wonder how busy he must be and how difficult it must be for him."
Park Bo Gum also expressed his gratitude to his fans for unconditionally supporting throughout her career. So to repay them, he wanted to work harder this year.
He also revealed his desire to play the role of a psychopath someday. After playing such a character in KBS2's "I Remember You," Park Bo Gum said he started to like characters that have "a clear background reason for why they came to be the way they are even if the characters are dark."
