Angelina Jolie reportedly has a video of a drunken Brad Pitt and she is now planning to leak the footage to win the custody of the six children. That's the claim of a recent report this week but was proved to be completely fabricated.
In 2016, Pitt and oldest son Maddox reportedly got into an altercation during a private flight from France to Los Angeles, causing Jolie to file a divorce shortly after that. Now, Star magazine claims someone recorded that incident, showing the actor stumbled out of the jet and going a "drunken joyride" in an airport golfing cart.
An unnamed source of the outlet said Jolie and her lawyer have copies of the alleged video and she's now planning to use it against her ex-husband to win the custody of the kids. The insider insisted that after seeing the video, the actress has been plotting, taking notes, and talking to her lawyers.
Allegedly, Jolie is fully prepared to leak the video so she can get what she wants. The unknown source added the actress really wants to win the court battle and she doesn't care if the footage goes viral and would crush Pitt.
According to Gossip Cop, the entire report of the outlet is baseless and nonsense. First, it's not yet clear if there's actually a video of a drunken Pitt, and if ever there's indeed a video, it's unusual since the clip would have been included with previous court filings of Jolie. Yet, it was widely reported in December 2018 that the actor received more custody and time their children.
It's also worth noting Star cannot prove that such video exists. While the magazine cover showed "exclusive" photos from the alleged clip, Gossip Cop noted these pictures were just "simulations." This isn't the first the tabloid manufactured a photo to make a false narrative. For instance, the outlet alleged Pitt and Jennifer Aniston kissing, but the provided image was photoshopped - a picture of Pitt kissing Jolie almost a decade ago and a picture of Aniston kissing Jason Bateman on the set of the movie The Switch in 2010.
The tabloid also has a record of creating wrong reports involving Pitt. Two weeks ago, the same outlet insisted the ex-spouses' daughter Shiloh demanded to live with her grandparents in Missouri, then also wrongly claimed in November 2018 the actor and Aniston rekindled their romance and they're not expecting a baby. Both claims were already debunked, so this latest one is similarly false as well.
