The Dorset Police have confirmed that they found Emiliano Sala's body after days of looking for his body. According to the police, the body recovered in the plane wreckage was brought to Portland Port on the same day it was discovered and HM Coroner identified him as Emiliano Sala.
The Dorset Police also said in their statement that the family of Emiliano Sala has been updated with the news. They vowed to support the family with their specially-trained family liaison officers, according to an article published in CNN.
His body was spotted in the wreckage on Monday, February 4, but it took operatives days to recover it due to "challenging conditions". The police are still investigating the incident that led to the death of Emiliano Sala.
