A new report claims Bradley Cooper is disappointed because his movie A Star Is Born did not win as many awards as he hoped for. However, this claim has been debunked and confirmed to be not true at all.
The headline in the latest issue of Star magazine declares, "Big-Head Bradley's Oscar Meltdown," with an accompanying article claiming the director-actor is sad as he was not chosen for a Best Director nomination at the Oscars this year, although he had been nominated for some other awards.
An alleged source of the outlet contends Cooper thought his movie A Star Is Born would finally get him an Oscar award, but he allegedly realized that his best might not work out. Now, the insider insisted the actor won't stop "moaning" about it.
The untraceable tipster further asserted Cooper had been a total control freak during the awards seasons - like coordinating his red carpet looks with co-star Lady Gaga.
But, according to Gossip Cop, the tabloid's claim that the actor has an alleged meltdown about A Star Is Born not winning as many as awards as he thought is not true at all. A source close to Cooper confirmed to Gossip Cop that the report of Star magazine is purely fabricated.
Although he admitted in a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey that he felt embarrassed not earning a Best Director nomination at the Oscars, he said that he realized this should not give him a sense of whether he did his job well or not.
Winfrey told Cooper she was surprised seeing him being left out of the Oscars' best director category, but the actor said he was never surprised about not getting anything. He also shared he felt incredible satisfaction in seeing his co-stars - Gaga and Sam Elliott - recognized by the Academy.
It's worth mentioning this narrative isn't new anymore. Just last month, Star's sister outlet, OK! Magazine, published a story alleging Cooper was crushed over losing the directing, and acting awards for A Star Is Born at the Golden Globes. That report wasn't true as well.
Meanwhile, Star magazine has been creating fabricated stories involving the actor. The tabloid published an article about the alleged love triangle between Cooper, his girlfriend Irina Shayk, and Gaga. For instance, the outlet reported last month Gaga has plans to "steal" the actor from his girlfriend, yet that claim was debunked. The outlet has no clear insight regarding the actor's career and personal life.
