In an interview with The Wrap at the recent the cabler's day at the Television Critics Association press tour, HBO programming chief Casey Bloys revealed "Westworld" Season 3's filming would officially start in March. However, he didn't reveal if the sci-fi television series would be out at the end of 2019 or later.
It may be safe to assume that "Westworld" Season 3 will be out in 2020 because of the gap between its previous seasons' release. The show is said to take a lot of time to produce, let alone its rigorous post-production process given its concept.
The show's second season premiered a year and a half after the first season ended in October 2016. So, "Westworld" Season 3 is expected to take the same time and route before it officially comes out on HBO.
Meanwhile, it has been announced Aaron Paul is about to join "Westworld" Season 3. "I've been such a massive fan from day one, so this is such a great, fun opportunity to take on," he told Digital Spy.
"What is so great about 'Westworld' is it's just so inventive and different and dangerous and gory, but this doesn't shy away from that, this particular new addition," Aaron Paul continued to say. The "Breaking Bad" star also added he is now excited to join the show's team.
Meanwhile, the previous season ended with a lot of questions that fans are hoping to get answered in "Westworld" Season 3. Fans wanted to know what would happen to Bernard (Jeffrey Wright), Dolores, and the Hale host in the real world while Delos tried to save the disaster it experiences at the three parks, per the Verge.
As expected, Evan Rachel Wood and Thandie Newton are back in "Westworld" Season 3, and the two will be paid the same amount as their male co-stars. Creator Lisa Joy also told The Wrap the new season would pick up where the previous season ended.
