Fear The Walking Dead season 5 will reportedly be released this coming April 2019, according to a report. While still unclear, the first look photos for the fifth season were previously revealed, showing Dwight look like a serial killer.
According to Okatukart, Fear The Walking Dead season 5 will premiere this April 2019 - based on the premiere date of season 4. As for the fifth season, it will reportedly consist of 16 episodes, and it might be split into two parts as well. The report says season 5 will also have a mid-season break, just like the preceding seasons.
As for the cast, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Lennie James, Danay Garcia, and Colman Domingo were said to keep their roles in Fear The Walking Dead season 5. Other casts for the next season also includes Maggie Grace, Jenna Elfman, and Garret Dillahunt.
Meanwhile, it was previously revealed that a former The Walking Dead character will appear in Fear The Walking Dead. Just last Saturday, AMC released first photos from the upcoming season, revealing the comeback of The Walking Dead alum Dwight (Austin Amelio) into the franchise.
He is the second The Walking Dead cast joining the spinoff after Morgan Jones (Lennie James) appeared in season 4. The first photos emerged on the internet revealed Dwight, he's giving some serial killer vibe, and with that ax over his shoulder.

The look in his eyes also hints he's gone through hell and back after his rival Daryl (Norman Reedus) exiled him. The burn scars he got from Negan in The Walking Dead season 7 also appeared to be more infected. While it's not yet certain why he looks like a murderer, he's probably on a mission as the former The Walking Dead character is searching for his wife Sherry (Christine Evangelista) who had been missing.
If ever he finds his wife, there's a chance he'll be a hero going forward. As per Comicbook, Amelio said the mission of his character is to reconnect with his wife, and it exists within his desire to put "some good back" into the world. Thus, it is possible Dwight is on that journey, and he might probably have a redemptive story on Fear The Walking Dead season 5.
Aside from Amelio's Dwight first look photo, AMC also released the rest of the new looks of Fear The Walking Dead season 5.
