Elon Musk previously promised the public, particularly dog owners, that the "Dog Mode" in electric automobiles is currently in works. Now, it looks like the promising car mode will be released soon.

According to an article published by CNET, the official Twitter account of Tesla Owners Silicon Valley tweeted Elon Musk about some updates on the "Sentry Mode". This is another electric car mode by Elon Musk in which cameras can record whatever is happening while the car is unattended by its owner.

In response, Elon Musk said that the "Sentry Mode" will be arriving this week. But that's not the only thing that will arrive as he said that the "Dog Mode" will be released too.

Elon Musk did not elaborate his tweet though. People are still asking when exactly "Sentry Mode" and "Dog Mode" will be released to the public.

The public is also waiting for the spokesperson of Tesla to respond to Elon Musk's tweet to their official Twitter account. The Tesla Twitter account has been tweeting other topics now and left the conversation with their boss waiting for a response.

Tesla also did not announce anything official about Elon Musk's "Dog Mode" or "Sentry Mode" release this week or next week. On the other hand, they released a different software update that adds safety and convenience features to their electric cars.

Elon Musk previously pitched Dog Mode late last year, according to an article published by Fortune. There are still some few details missing for the public to fully understand the mode as they only know that it will reduce the chances of dogs and other animals dying to heat stroke when left unattended inside a car.

Tesla, however, looks like they did not wait for their boss' product as they were able to make some new yet similar mode. For example, they have the Cabin Overheat Protection in which it controls the climate of the car to keep the interior at a safe and tolerable temperature.

On the other hand, Elon Musk bragged before that his "Dog Mode" can tell the owners that their dogs are safe inside the vehicle. This kind of feature was not seen with Tesla's Cabin Overheat Protection.

For some dog owners, they could not wait for Elon Musk's "Dog Mode" to be released so that they can finally leave them inside their car while grocery shopping or attending a meeting. Otherwise, the best option is still to leave animals in their homes and not inside the car.
