Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is one of the most anticipated games this year as fans are waiting for its March 15 release date on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. While waiting for the sequel of the best-selling and critically acclaimed game, fans already know some updates from the game and it is listed down below.

The first thing fans should know is that The Division 2 will not take place in the snowy New York City again. This time, according to an article published by Digital Trends, the Division agents will be facing enemies in the apocalyptic Washington D.C.

The Division 2 will also have a larger map to play in Washington D.C. Players will also recognize some familiar landmarks from the reality like the White House, the U.S. Capitol, the forested area of Roosevelt Island, Manhattan, Queens, and even the National Air and Space Museum.

There will be some open world changes in The Division 2 as Ubisoft wants to have a more vibrant setting. This time, players should weigh more their discussions with NPC and they can now have settlements.

The Division 2 will also have an eight-player co-op option that will put more challenge in every raid. However, it is still unclear on how these raids will entail, according to an article published in Polygon.

Some changes in The Dark Zone will also be observed in The Division 2. The Dark Zone will have three areas such as the Dark Zone West, Dark Zone East, and Dark Zone South and each of these zones have their own elements that will cater to different types of combat strategy.

Just like The Dark Zone, The Division 2 also put up some changes in the Rogue system. Now, the Rogue system has three statuses but other than that, the rule in stealing loot from other players is still a necessity to become Rogue.

Domination and Skirmish will also be available at the launch of The Division 2. So far, fans saw three maps that could be used in these PvP conflicts: Capitol Ruins, Stadium, and Georgetown.

Ubisoft also refined each weapon class in The Division 2 to make the players feel like the shooting is more realistic with regarding impact and recoil. There will be new weapons to like third rifle weapon types simply called rifles.

There will be new special skills too in The Division 2. This includes Chem Launcher, Drones, Hive, Seeker Mines, and Turret.

The Division 2 is expected to be sold at $60. For some huge fans, there is the $100 Gold Edition with Year One Pass and three-day early access to the game itself and there's also the $190 Dark Zone Definitive Edition exclusive to the Ubisoft store.
