A pop-up camera and an almost bezel-less innovative design style. This is what Vivo V15 is promising to interested buyers in a leaked video that may be the phone's official TV commercial.
The TV commercial of Vivo V15, which was leaked days before its official launch, shows a pop-up motion of the selfie camera found on the device. It indicated that the camera is a 32MP sensor that would definitely give great selfie shots of the user.
According to an article published by GSMArena, the Vivo V15 ad features some attractive objects such as raising kettle, violin, fork, sandwich, and a ball. These images are being shown with an electro-pop song containing lyrics "flying so high, make it pop, bring it to the top".
The Vivo V15 short advertisement also brags at the end of the clip when it claimed that the phone is the world's first 32 MP Pop-up Selfie Camera. This claim still does not prove that it will use a Sony sensor or Samsung ISOCELL GD1 sensor, according to an article published by GizmoChina.
Based on previous speculations, the Vivo V15 will feature the Samsung Isocell GD1 sensor. The sensor has the pixel-sized of just 0.8 μm.
With these specifications, the Vivo V15's setup could use 4-in-1 pixel binning. This could mean that users might see 8MP selfies most of the time.
What could be Vivo V15's other specs? So far, there are no updates but the Vivo V15 Pro is expected to have a Snapdragon 675 chipset.
The Vivo V15 Pro will also have a 32-megapixel camera sensor. There will be also an in-display fingerprint scanner and a Super AMOLED display.
The leaked ad of Vivo V15 confirmed the speculations that it will be released to the public on February 20. This was the predicted date before as media outlets already received press invites from the company.
Anticipating users in India are expecting to pre-book Vivo V15 on February 15. However, the price of the phone has yet to be announced.
People are expecting that Vivo V15 Pro will arrive in India and it will cost Rs. 25,000 or about $350. It might also reach the price of Rs. 30,000 or about $420.
The Vivo V15 Pro is going to be officially announced at a highly-anticipated mobile event on February 20. It will be a few days ahead of the annual Mobile World Congress that will be held in Barcelona, Spain.
