Strike Back season 7 episode 4 is going to be another edge-of-your-seat episode. Section 20 will be forced to tap the help of Capt. Katrina Zarkova (played by Yasemin Allen) to foil a potential nuclear crisis.
According to the episode synopsis, the team will ask Zarkova to command a type of device that no one knows how to operate. The technology of the device is in Russian, which explains why it's only the Zarkova who has the skills to encrypt its code.
The encryption is vital to the team's attempt to prevent the bad men from getting their hands on a pair of nuclear suitcases on Strike Back season 7 episode 4. A dangerous hostage situation also takes place amid everything that's going on. Meanwhile, Wyatt (played by Daniel MacPherson) is still trying to stay strong despite getting tortured for the nuclear codes.
Strike Back season 7 episode 4 is set to air on Cinemax this Friday, Feb. 15, at 10:00 p.m. This new season, also subtitled Strike Back: Revolution, is like a reboot for the series. It should be noted, however, that the U.S. airing of the show is still billed as season 6, while the U.K. broadcast follows the correct sequencing.
In Strike Back season 7, Jamie Bamber heads Section 20 as Colonel Alexander Coltrane of the British Army. Bamber explains to Den of Geek the importance of the dynamics between his character's new team and Zarkova of the FSB Alpha Group, a Russian operative.
"We have an FSB officer sharing her intel and privy to ours," the actor said. "It is an ad hoc relationship of willful trust and mutually assured destruction."
Strike Back season 7 also features the return of some of the characters from season 6 like Thomas 'Mac' McAllister (played by Warren Brown), Gracie Novin (played by Alin Sumarwata) and Wyatt. Barber acknowledged that his character's relationship with the members of this old tight-knit team is one of respectful distrust. However, Bamber also said that Coltrane would eventually earn his team's respect.
Strike Back season 7 was confirmed in 2018 and announced to premiere in the first few months of 2019. The new season takes the team all the way to the South China Sea to follow the path of a Russian bomber who disappeared with the nuclear suitcases. The show also stars Varada Sethu as Chetri, Alec Newman as Kuragin and Marek Vasut as Beshnov.
