Brooklyn Nine-Nine has returned and its newest season is already available, (oops!) not on Netflix, but on NBC.

The sixth installment of the U.S. hit comedy series started on January 10, 2019, and everyone's watching it. In fact, Student Edge claimed that Brooklyn Nine-Nine hit its highest rating this season. Thanks to Fox's cancellation of the show last May 2018, it spiraled a lot of fans and followers to uproar causing NBC to rescue the series.

According to Fox, the cancellation was a ‘business decision.’ But an insider from Bustle claims that the network felt that they did not have the right schedule for Brooklyn Nine-Nine this year. And that the decision ‘was based on a variety of factors.’

The day after the news dropped out, along with the outrage of the fans, NBC immediately picked the show up and ordered a new season.

Looking back, NBC actually sold the said show to Fox the first time around. And according to the network’s Chairman, Robert Greenblatt, they regretted letting it get away from them. He also adds that the main cast including Mike Schur, Andrew Samberg, and Dan Goor grew up on NBC. So, it is now the time for everyone to come back to their ‘rightful home.’

This series of events has become a great redeeming moment for NBC. However, it still came with a few bad news. In an article from Digital Spy, it was confirmed that the newly-ordered season would only have 13 episodes. And this is pretty short in comparison to the previous seasons that aired up to 22 or 23 episodes.

Nevertheless, there was a slight change in number just right before the premiere of the new season. From 13 episodes, Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6 will now be 18 episodes long, which is ‘toit,’ by the way.

But then again, fans and followers of the comedy series are asking about the new season’s availability on Netflix. Even the previous season of the series is still not available on the same platform in some countries like UK, Australia, and Ireland. Although the fifth season will be available on Netflix UK by March, it is very unlikely for the sixth installment to air as well this year in these areas.

There were also rumors that Season 6 won’t be released on Netflix until 2020. But Student Edge states otherwise. According to the publication, it is believed that it will arrive in full come September this year. And while it is still a few months away, all is 'cool-cool-cool' and 'no-doubt-no-doubt' that it will be soon available on Netflix.
