The La Réserve Paris Hotel & Spa has been ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the number one luxury hotel in Europe. At barely four years old in the industry, the hotel has made quite a buzz with multiple awards in its name.

According to Business Insider, the Paris hotel took the first spot in the list, with Copenhagen's Hotel Sanders at second place and Rome's Hotel Eden at third. The hotel also received other awards from prestigious awarding bodies including Condé Nast Traveller.

The La Réserve Paris is home to 40 luxury suites that feature classical themes amid modern amenities. It also joins the newest trend of "hotels' secret luxuries" with its hidden smoking room that offers cigar chest options for guests.

The palace hotel is just one of the properties owned by French hotelier Michel Reybier. When the location was still in the construction phase, it was reported that Reybier enlisted prominent designer Jacques Garcia to help provide his insights with the interior and exterior designs.

In a 2017 review of La Réserve Paris, The Telegraph noted that the hotel partnered with Nescens for its spa treatments that featured high-quality skincare products for guests. The joint venture with Nescens was launched in July 2015 and since then has been a popular activity in the hotel.

Last year, when Condé Nast Traveler recognized the hotel as number one in the world, it was reported that the results were taken from submissions by over 300,000 participants. 7,320 other hotels and resorts across 610 cities were voted on before the recognition was given.

Late last year, "yellow vest" riots took over France's tourism activities. Furthermore, terror attacks over the last two years have scarred the European country's winning streak in global tourism. Multiple flights were canceled and tourists expressed fears over safety and security in what is one of the world's most visited locations.

On the other hand, La Réserve Paris and other hotels in the area have been bouncing back over the past few weeks. According to French outlet The Local, tourism in Paris has started gaining momentum as overseas visitors started crowding around town once more.

Hotel booking figures from 2017 and 2018 revealed that hotels in Paris saw an increase of 9.5 percent in foreign and local bookings with 2.9 million guests recorded. The figures account for an additional €1.6 billion to the country's tourism industry.

The records further revealed that a huge number of tourists from Germany, the U.S., China, and Japan booked in Paris hotels, including La Réserve, despite the terror attacks and riots.
