A Japanese real estate firm is eyeing a hotel that's 'first of its kind' in the lifestyle niche. The development will be called "THE LIVELY", according to PR News Wire. THE LIVELY is looking at bringing a 'hip' experience to its patrons, with a concept and design based on the 'urban subculture' prevalent in the surrounding area.

The announcement came via an event in Hokkaido. Real estate developer Global Agents had revealed its plans to create "THE LIVELY," with the first location soon to open in the busy Hakata District of the city. The company has already made plans to put up two more premium structures in Osaka and Tokyo.

The hotel is going to feature aesthetics like the famous street-art in the district and combine it with a five-star, high-tech, smart-hotel experienced. Music will also be offered to the guests via beats coming from professional DJs, with a specially curated music soundtrack suited to the needs of the staying and paying guests at the hotel.

Japan, however, is natural disaster-prone due to its position. That's the problem why the Japanese capital is considered an especially risky investment. Earthquakes and its effects--tsunamis included--are a very real danger in Japan. Rethink Tokyo gives investors an idea of what to expect and how to avoid unnecessary risk.

Investing in property that has been certified to withstand earthquakes is a good idea. By 1981, most buildings have already been created to earthquake-resistant standards set by the government. Reinforced concrete (RC) and super-reinforced concrete (SRC) are also the dominant material used in most properties.

Tokyo is also found in the Kanto plain, where several streams dissect the landscape. Floodplains used to dominate the area. Flooding is another very real possibility, one that potential investors should prepare for.

THE LIVELY appears to be prepared for all contingencies. Aside from features like a lively grand open space to house guests and banquet halls where the staff can cater to people, it is also created to accommodate guests coming in from the Fukuoka Airport. The Airport is a good way of evacuating, should the need arise.
