Riverdale season 3 is back on air this week after its two-week break. The episode airing Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. on The CW will give fans the front seat view to what goes on inside The Farm.
As a teaser ahead of the episode's airing, the network released a few photos to Riverdale season 3 episode 13. It showed part of the cult's activities with Alice Cooper (played by Madchen Amick) taking the center stage.
According to Express, there are indications Alice could end up dead because of what will happen in The Farm on Riverdale season 3 episode 13. During a twisted and dangerous ceremony, Alice will be submerged in a bathtub as part of a baptism ritual.
Her daughter, Betty, meanwhile will race to The Farm to stop her mother from going through the initiation. Panic-stricken, Betty is shown in the teasers as crying over something or someone in Riverdale season 3 episode 13, but it's still unclear if she's mourning her mom.
Curiously, however, the photo teasers still do not show Edgar Evernever, the leader of The Farm. But viewers might likely get watch Chad Michael Murray pop up on Riverdale season 3 sooner rather than later. Murray's casting as the cult leader was confirmed in the first week of February, as per TV Line.
Aside from the photos of The Farm, Riverdale season 3 episode 13 will also feature Archie Andrews (played by KJ Apa) back on the fighting ring. He's boxing again, with one other image showing Josie McCoy (played by Ashleigh Murray) watching him from the sidelines. This confirms that Archie and Josie are together.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in Riverdale season 3 episode 13, Veronica will try to steer her father Hiram (played by Mark Consuelos) away from doing the drug trade. However, Gladys (played by Gina Gershon) will return to Riverdale to spoil Veronica's plans.
Cheryl (played by Madelaine Petsch), on the other hand, will attempt to touch base with the Serpents now that she's got her gang. Her moves, however, won't sit well with Toni (played by Vanessa Morgan). So, will the Pretty Poisons disband before things get started with the gang?
After the airing of Riverdale season 3 episode 13 on The CW on Wednesday night, the new episode will be available for streaming on Netflix the following day. The show has gotten a fourth season renewal during its hiatus so that fans can expect more scary stories from the gang.
