Fuller House is airing its fifth and final season on Netflix. However, as the show's final moments are being planned behind the scenes, some of the legacy cast members don't think this means it's goodbye for the series.

Speaking with PeopleLori Loughlin said that she has been happy with how her recurring character, Aunt Becky, has evolved on Fuller House. As part of the original legacy cast from Full House, which aired over two decades ago, viewers have seen Becky go from being Jesse's romantic interest to the wife and mother of his kids.

The actress also said that she's open to the idea of another spinoff series featuring Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse (played by John Stamos) after Fuller House season 5 wraps. She laughed at the idea that they could be in their 70s and on walkers by then, but it might be fun to see the original cast working together again.

Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), on the other hand, hinted on E! News that they could still keep Fuller House going despite the early cancellation from Netflix. The actor acknowledged that there had been a clamor from fans to save the series and the loyal viewers have staunchly been campaigning online.

"Fans are rebelling," Saget said. "Who knows if it's the last season?" he added, referring to Fuller House season 5.

Netflix confirmed that Fuller House season 5 would be the show's last run in January. Counting the seasons of Full House, which Jeff Franklin created, the franchise has a total of 13 seasons under its belt.

Meanwhile, Fuller House star Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner) hinted that season 5 would go out with a bang with a long-awaited wedding. Jodi Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) also teased that it might even be a triple wedding, with DJ and Steve, Steph and Jimmy, and Kimmy and Fernando.

Bure also addressed the show's cancellation and the reaction from fans. Acknowledging the petitions online, Bure said that it's truly bittersweet to be saying goodbye to Fuller House

However, she's grateful at the same time because they have been given a chance to wrap up the show properly. Working on Full House as kids, and then on Fuller House as adults, have given Bure and Sweetin a TV family and lifelong friends.

Netflix has not yet confirmed when Fuller House season 5 will launch. Subscribers to the streaming platform, however, can look out for the show's final episodes this fall.
