There is no denying that Lee Min Ho is among the most prominent Asian stars today. As a matter of fact, the 31-year-old South Korean superstar appeared in various productions before his military enlistment on May 12, 2017.

The former beau of Suzy Bae first gained widespread fame with his character in Boys Over Flowers, where he portrayed as Gu Jun Pyo. Lee Min Ho was also known for his roles in other hit television series such as the Legend of Blue Sea (2016), The Heirs (2013), City Hunter (2011), Line Romance (2014), 7 First Kisses (2016), Faith (2012), Personal Taste (2010), Get Up (2008), I Am Sam (2007) and Mackerel Run (2007) among others. The Hallyu star also appeared on big screen via Gangnam Blues (2015) and Bounty Hunters (2016).

Lee Min Ho was also got a Best New Actor award during the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards for his exemplary performance in the Boys Over Flowers series, which is based on the popular Hana Yori Dango shojo manga series. He was even considered as one of the most successful South Korean actors today along with Song Joong Ki, Park Bo Gum, Gong Yoo, and Rain.

Many fans, however, were saddened when it was first announced that Lee Min Ho would serve his mandatory military service as it would mean that they would see the actor lesser than before. The ex-boyfriend of Suzy Bae, reportedly, completed his military training in April 2018.

Lee Min Ho entered the Korea Army Training Center in Nonsan, South Chungcheong province for the 4-week military training. Graduation photos of the much-loved South Korean star were spread online at the time. He, then, returned to his post as a public service officer at the Suseo Social Welfare Center in Seoul City, South Korea. Interestingly, the Recipe of Love star was exempted from being an active duty soldier due to the severe injuries he suffered in a vehicular accident in 2006.

Now, avid followers of the Park Shin Hye's former leading man are wondering as to when would Lee Min Ho be discharged? Well, the Korean superstar will be released on May 11, 2019. Up until now, no official word from the actor's management if he would go back to work after he completes his military service.

Rumors are rife that the City Hunter star will marry Suzy Bae after he is discharged. However, these baseless speculations may not come into reality since the couple had already split in November 2017 shortly after the former Miss A singer won the 2017 Asia Star Award.
