It can never be denied that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart loveteam is among the most popular and bankable pairings in the history of Hollywood entertainment. As a matter of fact, the famous vampire-themed movie series, Twilight, was able to amass a significant number of following throughout its run in the big screen. However, many followers of the duo were saddened when it was made known that Robert and Kristen had split following the conclusion of the American romantic fantasy film franchise based on Stephenie Meyer's novel of the same title.
While neither of the Twilight stars had confirmed the real reason behind their breakup, rumors suggested that it is because of Kristen Stewart's alleged affair with Snow White And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. Photos of Kristen and Rupert making out in Los Angeles circulated online in July 2012, which seemed to confirm the hearsays claiming that Kristen had cheated on Robert Pattinson.
Though Kristen Stewart admitted her mistake, reports claimed that Robert Pattinson was humiliated by the cheating scandal. The incident, according to previous reports, caused a lot of fights between them. Their fights had, allegedly, exacerbated and the former boyfriend of FKA Twigs became so anxious by the possibility that the actress could cheat on him again.
To be fair with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson also was also hounded with cheating rumors. As a matter of fact, the 32-year-old English actor-model-musician was linked to Caitlin Cronenberg while he was still in a relationship with his then-girlfriend. The Twilight star, reportedly, dated Nikki Reed, SoKo, Camilla Belle, and Nina Schubert among others.
Though both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had parted ways six years ago, avid followers of the former on-screen partners continue to ship for them. As a matter of fact, recent reports suggest that Kristen was upset when Robert got engaged with FKA Twigs.
An unnamed source even told Hollywood Life that Kristen Stewart was "devastated" when she first learned about Robert Pattinson and FKA Twig's engagement. "She didn't want to believe it's true and was seriously hoping that it was just some sort of April Fools' [Day] joke," the insider added.
However, the claim might not be true because Kristen Stewart had already moved on from her Twilight days and her relationship with Robert Pattinson. "I'm having more fun now than I ever have," the former girlfriend of Stella Maxwell told Associated Press. "Completely. I only have to think about that when someone asks me," she added when asked if her Bella Swan days are already far from her thoughts.
Besides, Kristen Stewart has been very vocal about her gender preference and how she gets attracted to women since her split from Robert Pattinson. Among the personalities whom the Twilight actress had dated include St. Vincent, SoKo, Lynn Gvnn, and Alicia Cargile.
Hence, devoted followers of the former lovebirds should stop buying all these rumors suggesting that the two have not moved on from each other yet. They, however, might get reunited if fate permits.
