Korean singer-actor Rain, also known as Jung Ji-hoon, is currently being offered to star in MBC's upcoming fantasy drama. The "Full House" actor is already in negations for the show titled "Two Lives To Live Anyway."

According to Allkpop, Rain's agency called Rain Company confirmed that the actor is under negotiations for his highly anticipated return to the screen. MBC's "Two Lives To Live Anyway" is just one of the many projects he is currently in talks with. But as far as his casting is concerned, it has yet to be decided.

The upcoming show covers the life of a skilled yet cocky attorney who gets trapped in a parallel world after an accident that nearly takes his life. If the agency is successful in signing Rain, and the MBC drama gives in to the deal, it would be the actor's first TV show comeback since JTBC's "Sketch" aired in May last year.

So far, MBC, which is one of the leading television and radio network firms in South Korea, has remained closed doors in terms of the casting details of "Two Lives To Live Anyway." There have been reports, however, that director Kim Keun Hong ("Make A Woman Cry") and Yoo Hee Kyung ("Falling For Innocence) will helm and pen the show, respectively.

Rain is no stranger to the world of acting. He has long been hailed as one of South Korea's all around artist. Apart from his impressive talent in acting, he has also wowed fans with his singing and songwriting skills.

Rain managed to establish his status as a Hallyu star when he became the lead character in the pan-Asia hit drama "Full House." The latter, in particular, was aired back in 2013 and included actress Song Hye Kyo, the female lead character.

Rain is hailed as one of the few Korean actors who made his way to Hollywood. It is worth noting that he starred in 2008's "Speed Racer" and the following year's "Ninja Assassin."

Moreover, the aforementioned actor has been part of the headlines for a variety of reasons. For starters, he confirmed his plan to debut in a brand new boy group, with his company expressing the same interest towards the project.

Unfortunately, Rain received backlash over a post on Instagram, which he reportedly shared after getting drunk, Korea Portal reports. The controversial message on the social media site was posted after receiving unfavorable reviews regarding his movie titled "Uhm Bok Dong."
