Fans are about to see the coming of Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) on Supergirl Season 4 Episode 15, titled "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" The iconic DC villain will make his way to the superhero series to lure his sister, Lena (Katie McGrath), while his hate towards Kara/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) is passionately burning.

"Secretly furloughed from prison due to failing health, Lex Luthor visits his sister, Lena, to seek her help finding a cure. Savvy as ever, Lena is suspicious of Lex's motives, but when she's faced with a life and death situation, she must decide how she truly feels about her brother," Supergirl Season 4 Episode 15 official synopsis read. "Meanwhile, Supergirl and J'onn (David Harewood) face off against Manchester Black (guest star David Ajala). James' sister Kelly (guest star Azie Tesfai) comes to town."

Lex Luthor is the most iconic antagonist in the Superman history, and it is a little surprising that the show's writers took four seasons before they bring in his character. Now that the supervillain will be making his way to Supergirl Season 4 Episode 15, he will surely make things for Kara harder this time around.

However, CarterMatt reported that Lex Luthor has nothing much to do with Kara on Supergirl Season 4 Episode 15. He is desperate to meet his sister, Lena, to help him cure his failing health. As the two are about to spend a lot of time together, fans need to watch if they are going to trust each other or not.

Even though Lex Luthor's focus will be on his sister, he can't deny he still hates Kara. On Supergirl Season 4 Episode 15 promo, Jon Cryer's character revealed he wants to see if the "Kryptonian pretender can bleed." He will also declare he is the Man of Tomorrow and not Superman. But before he gets his verdict, he says the Man of Steel makes him do it.

Co-showrunner and executive producer Jessica Queller told Entertainment Weekly that Lex Luthor's character on Supergirl Season 4 Episode 15 is also similar to what fans used to see in the canon. However, Jon Cryer only has a "sparkle in his eye," and is smarter, larger, and 12 steps ahead of everyone compared to other characters.

Another co-showrunner and executive producer Robert Rovner added Lex Luthor is the biggest supervillain that will come in the series. The antagonist's plan on Supergirl Season 4 Episode 15 is going to affect everyone and will have a major impact on the entire season once he arrives. "O Brother, Where Art Thou" will air on Sunday, March 17, at 8 p.m. on the CW.
