Fans will see the final outing of the ladies of Litchfield on Orange is the New Black Season 7. One of Netflix's original shows, the comedy-drama web series is about to come to an end, and it may finally tie the previous seasons' loose ends.
With the looming ending, fans are now wondering what will happen to Piper (Taylor Schilling), and the rest of the gang on Orange is the New Black Season 7. The previous season ended with a devastating finale after Blanca (Laura Gómez) was taken to an immigration detention center and Taystee (Danielle Brooks) was wrongfully accused of murder. Among the girls, Piper had the luckiest fate after America made a statement about the racial imbalance that resulted in her release.
Orange is the New Black Season 7 would be following Piper's life after prison. Of course, fans would also see other inmates that remained behind bars. Now, could Piper and Alex's (Laura Prepon) love withstand their separation after their prison wedding?
In an interview with Schilling, the 34-year-old star told The Hollywood Reporter Alex is the love of Piper's life, so she is confident their union would survive the distance on Orange is the New Black Season 7. Aside from Schilling and Prepon, Uzo Aduba, Brooks, Laura Gomez, Adrienne C Moore, Natasha Lyonne, Dale Soules, Kate Mulgrew, and Dascha Polanco are likely to reprise their roles as Crazy Eyes, Taystee, Blanca, Black Cindy, Nicky, Frieda, Red, and Daya, respectively. Season 6's new faces, Amanda Fuller and Vicci Martinez, would also return to portray their characters as Madison and Daddy.
Meanwhile, Brooks, Moore, Aduba, Schilling, Prepon, Lyonne, Mulgrew, and other casts made a video announcing Orange is the New Black Season 7's ending. Mulgrew said she is going to "miss playing and living on the edge of" the most groundbreaking, original, and controversial series of the decade.
Series creator Jenji Kohan, on the other hand, said after Orange is the New Black Season 7, it is time for the girls to get released from the prison. "I will miss all the badass ladies of Litchfield and the incredible crew we've worked with," she said, via E! News. "My heart is orange, but fades to black."
Netflix has yet to announce Orange is the New Black Season 7's official release date, but the streaming service usually drops it in the summer. But, fans will see its final outing this year.
