Fans received the greatest surprised of their lives when the coming of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 had been announced. The animated series had been revived for one final outing, and viewers already had something in mind of what they wanted to see on its last installment.
The series takes place between the events of Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. With that, fans cast their theories of the possible plotlines that may at play on Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7.
According to the fan page Dork Side of the Force, fans are looking forward to seeing Palpatine's kidnapping by Dooku and Grievous on Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7. It is one of the most important plots on Revenge of the Sith during the Siege of Mandalore that prompts Anakin and Obi-Wan to leave Ahsoka to face Darth Maul.
Fans also want Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 to explore Padme's pregnancy. The most vital part of Revenge of the Sith is when Padme gives birth to Luke and Leia, which play major roles in the franchise.
However, it is not yet revealed if Padme would be part of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7. If it happens, viewers will see her already pregnant, and the senator has to come up with a reason to answer the questions about the father of her children.
Lastly, fans want to see the completion of the Bad Batch's story on Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7. This arc tells the story of the troops known as Clone Force 99 composed of perfect Super Soldier. These guys already appeared in the Legacy season that was also uncompleted, so viewers would like to see a proper ending for their tale.
Meanwhile, it was on the franchise's 10th-anniversary panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 that the announcement of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 was made with a trailer and a poster. With the Mandalorian Bo-Katan Kryze's appearance on a hologram with Ahsoka, it seemed like the new season would be about the Siege of Mandalore. It was one of the Clone Wars' final battles which writer Matt Michnovetz said was intentionally the climax of the eighth and final season, per CNet.
"It's four shots, really," Executive Producer Dave Filoni told IGN. "There's a lot in those four shots that I put in there specifically for people to decrypt over the next however-long-it-is until this thing is out."
Disney has yet to announce Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7's release date, but it will be out on the studio's new streaming service, Disney Plus. The new service is said to be introduced in late 2019, so the series' new installment may come along with its arrival.
