The tension is piling up for the fans as The Blacklist's latest episode, The Cryptobanker, showed the imminent danger to Red's life. As it happens, he was sentenced to death via lethal injection since the jury has already made the verdict. And although Red (somehow) accepted his supposed fate, he believes that he can and he will be set free - soon enough.
However, this did not happen. And before the previous episode of The Blacklist ended, it revealed that Red has already exhausted most of his options along with Liz. Hence, it seemed that there are no other options left for him. Moreover, he will need more help and support not only from Liz but also to other people who are in position, according to Cartermatt.
As you may know, there are already talks of pardon which is basically the most sensible thing that could happen to get Red out of his sentence.
But how would he do it?
This is actually the question that most viewers and people ask but not until the recent guides and synopsis of the next episode spiraled all over the web. And according to the synopsis, Cooper will sacrifice his own reputation to get help from the White House. In short, he will appeal on Red's behalf.
From this synopsis alone, one could already deduce that they will try to have Red pardon by the president. And while there is no mentioning of the president's name yet, it seemingly appears that this idea has been given already.
The Blacklist Season 6's next episode will be a two-part story. So, fans will get to see how Red will supposedly get out from bars in either episode 11 or episode 12. As for the title, the episodes are called Bastien Moreau and Bastien Moreau: Conclusion, respectively.
Aside from Red's supposed pardon from the White House, the upcoming episodes will also explain why The Corsican is still running around, just like what Cartermatt stated in one of their recent guides to the show. Hence, fans will get to see Christopher Lambert again. Also, the same goes for Samar's abilities as she will be tested in the next two episodes.
Now, The Blacklist season 6 episode 11 is set to premiere on March 15 on NBC. As for the twelfth episode, it will air on March 22. And aside from Christopher Lambert, the other guest stars will include Jennifer Ferrin and Benito Martinez.
