A report claims that singer and songwriter Lady Gaga just might be featured in CD Projekt Red's hotly anticipated RPG, "CyberPunk 2077."

According to anonymous sources cited by French publication ActuGaming, Lady Gaga was spotted paying a visit to CD Projekt Red's studio in Warsaw, Poland. The sources, which ActuGaming described as "close to the studio," did not disclose what the artist was doing there. They did, however, say that she is "participating" in the game.

Furthermore, the anonymous sources the publication that this collaboration will soon be officially announced to the public, particularly during E3 2019. GameRant notes that this is fitting, as Lady Gaga is an Oscar-winning actress, and featuring someone like her in a game deserves a big reveal.

The sources did not provide more information about the said collaboration. They did not want to be quoted either. What's clear is that there's a collaboration between the artist and the game studio, and details surrounding its nature will be announced in a few months.

ActuGaming speculates that Lady Gaga might have taken part in a motion-capture session and will be featured in the game one way or another. Whether she will have a character of her own or not remains to be seen.

Progress

This new report seems to confirm earlier speculations about the relationship between the artist and CDPR. Months ago, the game developer excited the internet when it replied to Lady Gaga's tweet years ago.

Back in 2012, the artist tweeted random letters, numbers, and symbols. Her tweet was obvious nonsense, but almost six years later, the official Cyberpunk 2077 twitter account would respond with a simple "Of course! Of course we will!" accompanied by an emoji wearing sunglasses.

This interaction led many fans to believe that somehow, in some way, Lady Gaga just might have something to do with the upcoming game. Some of them wondered if she would be working on the game's music. She is a singer and songwriter, after all, and some of her hits just might blend well with the game's aspects.

Furthermore, her outfits and looks, especially those she had at the start of her mainstream career, look like a good fit for CyberPunk 2077's world too.

Nevertheless, these details are still rumors until CDPR or Lady Gaga herself confirm them. Fans are advised to wait for E3 2019 to find out more about the game, and how it features the award-winning performer.
