Player users waiting for CD Projekt Red's upcoming RPG title, "Cyberpunk 2077," will be glad to know that the game won't be an Epic Store exclusive when it is released.
With certain AAA titles such as "The Division 2" and "Metro Exodus" being released on the Epic Store exclusively, players are worrying that one of the most anticipated titles -- Cyberpunk 2077 -- will also be an Epic Store exclusive. Thankfully, this won't be happening, reported GameRant.
The game's developers announced that Cyberpunk 2077 won't be coming out exclusively via the online store using social media. A certain Twitter user expressed hopes that CD Projekt Red will make the game available to players outside the Epic Store. The developers simply replied:

Cyberpunk 2077 coming out as an Epic Store exclusive isn't really possible, a few players noted on Twitter, pointing out a few reasons:
First, CR Projekt Red owns GOG, an online game retail site, which means they will sell the title on that platform alongside others. If Cyberpunk 2077 becomes an Epic Store exclusive, it means the developers will betray their own platform and its fanbase.
Second, CD Projekt Red has a reputation for listening to gamers. They have been awarded as the Best Developer in the recent Steam Awards, which means they've been taking care of their clients well.
Also, they have a track record of releasing their titles via several retailers, not including the Epic Store, Alt/Char noted. Titles in "The Witcher" franchise, for example, are available on Steam, Origin, and GOG.
All these considered, players outside the Epic Store can now rest their minds and just wait for the upcoming title to be released at an unknown date.

Players will take on the role of a mercenary named V, whose gender and characteristics can be customized according to their preferences. V's stats vary depending on the classes the player chooses at any point in the game, and his/her skills can be upgraded to suit various needs.
The game is suited for mature audiences only, as the game features explicit language, sexual activity, and full frontal nudity.
