The anticipation for the upcoming Lucifer Season 4 has been extremely high since the moment Netflix announced its renewal. Initially, many viewers thought that the popular American urban fantasy procedural comedy-drama television series is already over after Fox revealed that the network would not be airing the show anymore. Now, that the fourth installment is confirmed to be making waves again, what should fans expect?
Reports have it that Lucifer Season 4 would be filled with more action-packed scenes as the adventure of the Lord of Hell (Tom Ellis) continues. In the forthcoming new installment, speculations suggest that Lucifer's life will go through hell again with the return of his former flame, Eve (Inbar Levi). Eve is expected to turn her ex-partner's life upside down.
Eve had troubles with her marriage and she, reportedly, misses her "hot and heavy" ex-love interest, Lucifer. However, with her return, things might even get more complicated between Lucifer and Chloe (Lauren German) in Lucifer Season 4. The love birds are speculated to end their romance after Chloe, allegedly, saw Lucifer's devil face in Season 3 finale. Despite this, Tom Ellis, previously, teased that there would be more steamy bed scenes in the new installment.
In other news, series mainstay Aimee Garcia shared a few things about the imminent Lucifer Season 4. The 40-year-old American actress posted a photo of her along with the Lucifer family on Feb. 14. In the caption, Aimee hinted that they are on a top-secret mission. Though the actress did not confirm if the said "top secret mission" will be revealed in Lucifer Season 4, avid followers of the show had already picked up the idea and predicted that Lucifer and his friends are up to something in the up-and-coming new season.
Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson confirmed that the entire cast and crew of the series started filming for Lucifer Season 4 in August 2018 and finished in December 2018. If this is the case, then, it can be concluded that Netflix could drop the imminent installment anytime soon.
Netflix has not yet released an official release date for the series' fourth season. However, rumors suggest that it is likely to come out in Spring 2019 with a total of 10 43-minute episodes.
