Teresa Guidice has reportedly been exploring her options with her lawyers now that her husband, Joe Guidice, has been released from prison. The star of Real Housewives of New Jersey is worried that if Joe gets deported, then their children might have to move to Italy with him.
According to Hollywood Life, Teresa wants her daughters -- Audriana, 10, Milania, 13, Gabriella, 14, and Gia, 18 -- to stay in New Jersey if the courts ultimately decide that Joe will have to leave the United States. Currently, her husband is staying with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) following a 41-month prison term for bankruptcy fraud.
Teresa has said many times over that she will not be going with her husband if he gets deported. She doesn't want to make this choice, but it's a possibility that could become a reality.
Following the completion of Joe's prison term, his lawyers filed for an appeal regarding his deportation. This has been up for review, but it might take months before a decision is handed down. So, while that's still up in the air, Joe will continue to be holed up at the ICE detention center.
Lawyers for the Guidice family also released a statement to say that his family is behind him despite reports of an impending divorce. "His family is hopeful that justice will prevail and Mr. Giudice will return home to his wife and four daughters who love him and miss him," the statement read, as per The Daily Dish.
But Teresa's brother Joe Gorga told Us Weekly that his sister is trying her best to put up a brave front. Gorga said that the family would likely have a vacation in Italy to visit their father if the government decides he should go home. However, the kids will not permanently stay with their dad.
Gorga said that Teresa has been raising her children solo for many years anyway. But as a personal reason, the brother said he wants his sister's family to be together and complete soon.
On the other hand, Kim DePaola, Teresa's co-star on Real Housewives, revealed that the Guidice children might be better off with their dad. DePaola said that Teresa is not close to her children because she doesn't spend time with them.
DePaola also alleged that Teresa dated Shane Weirks for a while despite being married to Joe. Now, she's rumored to be seeing Blake Schreck and has been flaunting the relationship, as per Reality Blurb.
