The Orville Season 2 Episode 11 is one of the most highly anticipated episodes. The pilot appears to be smitten by a woman named Laura. Here is everything about it in a nutshell.

According to EconoTimes, the upcoming episode is expected to air come March 21 and will treat fans to a romance plotline featuring Lt. Gordon Malloy (played by Scott Grimes). Interestingly, everyone's interest is pique by Laura, who is being played by Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester.

In the trailer of The Orville Season 2 Episode 11, Gordon can be seen inviting Seth MacFarlane and Adrianne Palicki's characters Ed and Kelly, respectively. Both are pretty much excited with the idea of chasing after the beauty, but everything goes opposite when the name Laura is mentioned.

Though, her arrival comes in the wake of Ed and Gordon promising not to be at odds with each other again, especially if it involves a girl. With Laura's arrival, it is interesting to see whether she causes a rift between these two friends. However, her arrival could also be a way to test Ed and Gordon's newly-renewed friendship.

The Orville Season 2 Episode 11 is called Lasting Impressions. And much like with other episodes, fans have their way of trying to understand what the writers of the show have mapped out. A popular theory is that Gordon will find himself falling in love with a hologram found inside of an environmental simulator. Interestingly enough, this seems to explain why Kelly appears to have a confused expression in the aforementioned trailer.

The upcoming episode of the Seth MacFarlane-captained show is mum on what it holds. The official synopsis only suggests that crew members decide to open a time capsule from 2015. It is worth noting that Meester is not the only start from Gossip Girl to join the cast. It is none other than her fellow alum named Jessica Szohr, who will be playing the character of security chief Talla, TVLine reports.

It is interesting to see how things will be unveiled in The Orville Season 2 Episode 11. In regards to the future, it appears that FOX is more than satisfied with the performance of the series. Even Michael Thorn, the entertainment president at Fox Broadcasting Co., said that MacFarlane did an incredible job in making the series a reality. He also expressed his excitement about the series' loyal following.
