The magazine claimed Angelina Jolie started to drink heavily after learning that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been seeing each other "behind her back." It also contended that the 43-year-old star was seen "drinking a large glass of wine" at the premiere party of Dumbo a couple of days after the Friends star and the 55-year-old actor allegedly met at the Sony Pictures lot
Angelina Jolie's heavy drinking scene is said to be worrying because she was once a "wild child." Gossip Cop debunked this story as the tabloid has no enough evidence to prove the humanitarian hits the bottle because of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.
Another publication reported Angelina Jolie was "sipping red wine and chatting with an older man" at the Dumbo premiere party, but it didn't mean she was heavily drinking. It also didn't prove that she drank because of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. She was only socially drinking at the event; given it was a celebration of the movie's release.
Also, to prove the claim is wrong, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston didn't meet at Sony, so there is no reason for Angelina Jolie to hit the bottle. The former couple's reps insisted they never had a "get-together," except when the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star went to the Dumplin' actress' 50th birthday party. They also denied that they were meeting behind Jolie's back.
Meanwhile, there are also reports that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are both asking the court to make them legally single again, although their divorce's details are yet to be polished. The Blast reported the former pair is negotiating a "bifurcated judgment" of their status as a married couple. It will mean that they will be both considered divorce and legally single, but they still have to work on the final judgment that includes their assets and children's custody.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reportedly want to continue their lives as single persons as they no longer want to stay attached to each other. However, it doesn't mean that they are pushing for separation because they are in a new relationship, but they want to emotionally move on from one another.
