It looks like all God Friended Me burning questions will finally be answered. The spoilers and predictions for the series' upcoming episode 19 suggest that the hunt for answers to the God account will come to a head.
Before that, here's a quick recap to what happened in the latest episode of God Friended Me. Episode 18, titled "Return to Sender," continued with Miles Finer's (Brandon Micheal Hall) journey as he finds the person behind the God account all the while helping people in need.
A package mistakenly received by Miles Finer pushed him toward a grieving couple who just lost their daughter. He helped them handle the loss of their daughter, and letting go of her violin. While reluctant at first, the couple eventually let go of it as they believed another promising musician would benefit from it.
The episode also featured Cara Bloom's (Violett Beane) one-on-one interview Simon Hayes (Adam Goldberg) for Catapult. She tried to push him for some exciting details on his secret project, but he was not so keen to say much other than that he has been working hard on it for the past eight months.
Cara Bloom was, then, given a signal by her boss to write the story based on the interview. She, however, was hesitant since Miles Finer already made it clear that he wanted to keep the exclusive rights on the God account for Free Verse.
Now, the upcoming penultimate episode of God Friended Me will see Miles Finer and his father, Rev. Arthur Finer (Joe Morton), embarking on a road trip as the answers to who is behind the God account become closer than ever.
"Arthur joins Miles on a road trip upstate after the God Account checks into a closed-down summer camp," the official synopsis for God Friended Me Episode 19 reads, as quoted by Carter Matt. "Also, Cara makes a career-altering decision, Pria (Parminder Nagra) reveals unexpected news to Rakesh, and the hunt for answers to the God Account come to a head at the grand reveal of Simon Hayes' (Adam Goldberg) mystery project," it added.
Also appearing on God Friended Me Episode 19 are Suraj Sharma as Rakesh Singh, Javicia Leslie as Ali Finer, Shazi Raja as Jaya, Francesca Ling as Parker, Parminder Nagra as Pria, Rachel Bay Jones as Susan, Nneka Okafor as Christina, and Michel Gill as Wilson.
God Friended Me Episode 19, titled "The Road To Damascus," airs on March 31 at 8:00 p.m. EST on CBS.
