Tray (Tracy Morgan) and Shay (Tiffany Haddish) will be back on The Last O.G. Season 2. In a couple of days, fans will once again see the two's antics after TBS dropped its first trailer earlier this year.
Bobby and Shay will find additional stuff that will help them move along on The Last O.G. Season 2. After Tray got out from prison, the two have a lot of things to catch up, including a bundle of letter Tray sent to Shay when he was still behind bars.
Fans will see Tray pursuing his dream to become a chef on The Last O.G. Season 2. However, there may be a "good, old-fashioned" food fight that may occur.
According to IndieWire, Ryan Gaul, Taylor Mosby, Dante Hoagland, and Allen Maldonado will all return to The Last O.G. Season 2 to reprise their roles. Viewers will once again see them as Josh, Amira, Shazad, and Bobby, respectively. The new season will also feature A-list musician guest stars like Talib Kweli, Rakim, Method Man, and Rev Run.
TBS ordered for The Last O.G. Season 2 in April 2018 even before the previous season ended in June of the said year. It also renewed the Search Party at the time. "We couldn't be prouder of these two comedies and that they've been recognized by critics and audiences alike for their uniquely hilarious points of view in a very crowded field," Brett Weitz, executive vice president of programming for TBS, said, via Bustle. He also added these two shows are the best comedy series on television.
TBS has its faith on The Last O.G. Season 2. With the previous season's performance, getting 83 percent positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes and "Certified Fresh" badge, the expectation is high on the new installment.
Also, The Last O.G. marks Tracy Morgan's return to a new television role after an accident. To recall, he got injured in 2014 after a Wal-Mart tractor-trailer crashed his limo. Comedy writer James McNair got killed at the time, while he suffered a broken leg, nose, ribs, and was in a coma for two weeks.
"I've been thinking about this show for eight years," Morgan said about The Last O.G. "I've been talking about this to my wife for at least that long." And now that he is set to return for another season, fans can expect to see him once again, showing his incredible talent to make everyone laugh. The Last O.G. Season 2 will be out on Tuesday, April 2, on TBS.
