The 2018 reboot of the 80's Magnum P.I. is now coming to its first season finale. And just like that, the first season of the show will soon be long gone.
But of course, the show will not leave just yet without surprising its fans and giving a few cliffhangers for the next season. So, fans and viewers of Magnum P.I. can expect that the upcoming episode will be a mind-blowing one to wrap up the pilot season.
The official synopsis of the next episode reveals that Magnum's ex-girlfriend will resurface to ask for his help. So basically, this is where the story will revolve around come to the next episode. And as you may know, Magnum's history with his ex-girlfriend, Hannah, is not entirely great.
As it happens, Hannah betrayed Magnum. And this betrayal cost Magnum and his whole team their career and total freedom. So, asking for his help this time can only mean one thing - this is going to be very problematic.
Aside from the perceived chaos due to Hannah's return, this might be just another trap waiting for Magnum as expressed by Cartermatt. Even so, it is said that Hannah's return is about the apparent danger that is waiting for her and her father who happens to be affiliated with the CIA. Not to mention, this father of hers is actually missing which leads to her asking for Magnum's help. Nevertheless, Magnum will certainly help her given his character and attitude.
On another note, it is also revealed in the synopsis that Magnum will ask Higgins to become his private investigations partner which makes the plot more interesting. And in considering that this episode is the season finale of Magnum P.I., there is a huge chance that fans will see more of Magnum-Higgins partnership in the second season of the show.
So far, these are the main events that the fans will get to see once the twentieth episode of Magnum P.I. airs on CBS. As for the cliffhangers, surely, and just like any television series, there will be one given the fact that the show will take a break to prepare for its next installment.
But while there are already talks of the second season, only little has been shared and revealed about it. And the only way for the fans to obtain a few ideas on how Magnum P.I.'s plot will proceed is to watch the season finale as of the time being.
The season ender carries the title The Day It All Came Together which will premiere on April 1 on CBS.
