Waking up with no memories alone is unimaginably difficult for anyone. And much more if you wake up experiencing this while seeing that you are covered in blood in the middle of an unknown place. This is apparently what will happen to Nick Torres in the upcoming episode of NCIS Season 16.
In the official synopsis of the new episode, it revealed that Torres will wake up in an unknown fishing boat with no recollection of memories for the last 12 hours. And not to mention that he is also covered in blood.
This upcoming episode is seen as a very unique material as per Cartermatt. Apparently, NCIS never made an episode that is quite something like this one. Unlike the other episodes from the previous installments, this carries the mystery, suspense, and thrill - all in one - and inclusive of one character. And for more than a decade of airing without this kind of plot, this is pretty impressive.
Some may think that is somewhat related to the plot of Hangover movie. Yes, there are a few similarities but this is still NCIS. So, Nick's no recollection of what happened the night before is not due to drinking liquors nor taking drugs.
As it appears, this might be a vendetta set against him or the whole NCIS team. There is a huge possibility that someone from their past missions was able to pull this kind of act. And choosing Nick Torres as the victim is just sensible.
Torres' character in the storyline is the most susceptible type for breaking rules and laws. And if ever this is going to be a set up laid against him or to the whole team, it is very much convenient for everyone to pin the crime or whatever the case may be on Torres.
But even so, one thing is for sure, and that is Torres will have the spotlight on the next episode.
Obviously, the whole team will try to investigate what really went down with him. And the plot will definitely revolve around this case. Also, it is certain that he is either the victim or the suspect. But things will further unveil itself once the episode arrives.
So far, this is the only information that has been shared about the upcoming episode of NCIS. And while this kind of plot is pretty interesting, things will surely be much more intriguing once the new episode drops on CBS on April 2.
