Boruto Episode 100, titled "An Established Path," will continue to deal with the birds and Jugo's cursed seal as the teams try their best to solve the problem. Two mysterious enemies will be revealed, while Jugo may experience another transformation.
Mitsuki, Sarada, Borui will help Tosaka and Jugo search for a way to know who control the birds in Boruto Episode 100. However, villagers know that these creatures are only behaving this way because of the power of the cursed deal. Fortunately, with Jugo's stock of tranquilizers, they can manage to control and rescue these flying animals for the time being.
But, things may get worse when Team 7 loses all the tranquilizers they have in Boruto Episode 100. Without tranquilizers, no birds will be rescued, and no medicine can control Jugo's transformation to be a "bloodlust-y beast." Hence, he will once again transform into a beast just right outside his cave.
The incidents happening in Boruto Episode 100 might have something to do with the researcher from the Land of Rivers. The previous episodes revealed this researcher had been spying on them all. Hence, he might be one of the perpetrators behind the rabid birds and the lost of tranquilizers.
Meanwhile, while Team 7 handled Jugo's transformation in the Land of Rivers, Team 15 went back to Konoha to tell Naturo and company about the situation. However, they got ambushed by two mysterious enemies. These foes revealed the ability to activate the Cursed Seal Marks with only a touch of the button.
These new antagonists are expected to be introduced in Boruto Episode 100. But according to Comic Book, the teaser revealed someone in the Shinobi Countries has been experimenting the use of Cursed Seals.
This someone can be Orochimaru, who is holding the two strongest chakra boosters in the series - the Cursed Seals of Heaven and Earth. His Otogakure Village base is also the opposite of the Land of Rivers, and Konohagakure is placed between the two. It only means that anyone who has access to Konohagakure can go between the two villages and experiment with the Cursed Seal.
There is also a possibility that someone in the Land of Rivers is experimenting with the use of Cursed Seals and not Orochimaru. If it is happening in the Land of Rivers in Boruto Episode 100, and then Boruto is revealing an "informal arms race" happening in the Shinobi Countries.
Boruto Episode 100 will be out on Sunday, March 31. It can be seen on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Hulu.
