Wayne had caught the hearts of everyone when Youtube Premium introduced Mark McKenna's character in January. As a couple of months have passed since the streaming service dropped the series' 10 fun and bloody episodes, viewers are now wondering if there will be Wayne Season 2.

YouTube Premium has yet to announce the coming of Wayne Season 2, but creator Shawn Simmons is confident that the show will return. In an interview with Metro US, he revealed he already had an idea on the possible new season's storyline.

"Season 2, I know where it's going, I know where it's going to end up," Simmons said. "I actually wrote the last scene of the series two months ago, just isolated."

Simmons added Wayne Season 2 will still be set in Brockton and may have a theme of John Wick. As Season 1 gets a Death Wish plot as Wayne tried his best getting what his father owned, the new season will be like Keanu Reeves' iconic movie. He may also live with Principal Cole (Mike O'Malley) that may result in an incredible dynamic duo.

In Wayne Season 2, Wayne will try to get back to the right path, but he gets pulled back in just like John Wick. Hence, the new season will about a kid trying to live a normal life and finding his place in the world, despite everything that happened.

Wayne Season 1 has received rave reviews since it premiered in January. In fact, Deadline reported it got over 10 million views for its first episode alone, which it got for only five days - January 16 to January 21.

Even before the show premiered, Simmons said that it was "tracking really well." It also brought a lot of new YouTube Premium subscribers, who became interested in Wayne's story and wanted to see and know more of it. They knew Season 1 would be a hit, thus they were hoping the same for Wayne Season 2.

Now, fans can start binge-watching Wayne the rest of Season 1 episodes as they wait for Wayne Season 2. The show is from Deadpool and Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who play as its executive producers.

It tells the story of Wayne and his adventure to take back his father's stolen 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. When Wayne Season 2 gets the green light, his tale will continue with his pal Del (Ciara Bravo) as they try to be normal kids with a normal life.
