Last year, Netflix took quite over a month to order for On My Block Season 2. So, the streaming service might follow a similar time frame to ask for On My Block Season 3.
Just like Season 1, Season 2 received universal acclaim. It is also one of Netflix's most popular shows. So, it may be safe to assume that On My Block Season 3 will be in the works in no time.

Also, it is still up in the air if the rest of the gang would be back on On My Black Season 3 after Capri, Tinoco, Garcia, Gray, and Ramirez all reprised their roles as Monse, Cesar, Jasmine, Jamal, and Ruby's brother Mario on Season 2.
If ever Netflix gives On My Block Season 3 a green light, it may follow the show's usual release schedule. Season 1 premiered on March 16, 2018. After a month, it was renewed for Season 2, and it was out on March 29.
With the show's critical and commercial acclaim, On My Block Season 3 may happen sooner than expected. If Netflix renews the series in April, it can be out in the spring or April 2020.
