Red (James Spader) will not let the one who is behind his imprisonment slide on The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 16, titled "Lady Luck." The criminal mastermind will have a closer look at his associates to find if any one of them has betrayed him by turning him to the police.
"Liz (Megan Boone) and Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) investigate a Blacklister who offers to erase gambling debts - at a deceptively high price," The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 16 official synopsis read. "Meanwhile, Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) grows concerned as Red tests the loyalties of their business associates in search of the individual who turned him in to the police."
According to CarterMatt, among Red's associates, Dembe is the only one who has an idea that Liz is the one who is behind the imposter's imprisonment. He comes to realize the impact of Red's arrest and everything that happened on Liz, but he chose not to tell anyone about it on Liz's demand. Will he tell everything to Red on The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 16?
What Dembe did is the bravest move he has done so far, knowing he is very much aware of what Red does to people who wronged him. Dembe committed to Liz that he would not tell anyone, but what if Red learns the truth on The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 16? Surely, Red will not just let it slide.
Meanwhile, although The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 16 synopsis didn't mention anything about Aram (Amir Arison) versus Red, the initial is blaming him for helping Samar (Mozhan Marno) escape the country without him. Things between the two may become more complicated as Aram is reportedly blinded by hate and heartache. However, it remains to be seen what Aram will do to Red.
Meanwhile, NBC recently renews The Blacklist for Season 7. Deadline reported the renewal has been in the works for quite a while before it was officially announced.
However, the standard broadcast series' cast contracts are for only six years. But, Spader reportedly had negotiated his deal by adding another year. There were also reports that Sony TV signed new agreements with Boone, Diego Klatenhoff (Donald), and Harry Lennix (Harold) to reprise their roles as the show's original cast members for the new season.
The Blacklist Season 6 Episode 16, titled "Lady Luck," will be out on Friday, April 12, at 9 p.m. on NBC. The Blacklist Season 7's release, on the other hand, is yet to be announced.
