It will take a little while before fans see the continuation of Kara's (Melissa Benoist) story on the yet to be titled Supergirl Season 4 Episode 18. The show will be on a quick hiatus before it drops its last few episodes week after week that will end the era of the current story arc.

Although a lot of fans celebrated Lex Luthor's (Jon Cryer) coming, the DC Extended Univer's supervillain will only stay on the show for a few episodes. So according to CarterMatt, it is not yet revealed if he would be part of the series' endgame. However, he would still be seen on Supergirl Season 4 Episode 18.

The show may go in a different direction where the action can be more intense. As the current story arc is dubbed to be the best of the season, the writers will surely find it hard to create a new storyline that can surpass it. Add to that Cryer's incredible talent, and the much-awaited appearance of Lex Luthor, the new season should be something that can blow the fans' minds off.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 18's release will be the start of the last five episodes' run. Week after week, new episodes will be out until it reaches its end in May. The month of May is said to be when the "lucrative ad money starts to come in." So, what fans expect to see happening here?

There may be a great leap forward with some of the show major storylines that may start on Supergirl Season 4 Episode 18. With Agent Liberty (Sam Witwer) or the Children of Liberty in general and the frequent battle between humans and aliens, the end may be pretty intense for everyone.

In an interview by TV Line, Katie McGrath, who plays Lena Luthor, talked about what is coming for her character and Kara. Lena betrays Kara by helping her brother Lex Luthor. As she finds it difficult to accept that she ruins her friendship with Kara, everything will heavily weigh on her. However, this issue will be addressed from Supergirl Season 4 Episode 18 forward.

Talking about Lena and James (Mehcad Brooks), McGrath admitted her character regrets why she gave him the haranel. Lena had no idea that it would give him powers. She didn't know what she was doing, but it was a "Hail Mary." The consequences of what she did may be seen on Supergirl Season 4 Episode 18 until the show ends.

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 18 will be out on Sunday, April 21, on The CW Television Network. The show will be on a hiatus for three weeks, so the network has yet to release the episode's official synopsis.
