Magnum P.I. episode 20 is the final episode of season one and it teases the return of Hannah. The title of the next episode is "The Day It All Came Together" and it will be one of the most important moments for the title character of Thomas Magnum.
According to the synopsis of Magnum P.I. episode 20, Magnum's ex Hannah (Jordana Brewster) - who betrayed him for many years before and is responsible for him and his SEAL team being prisoners of war - suddenly shows up at his home with a gunshot. She's asking for Magnum's help to find her CIA father who has been missing and might be in danger, so he needs to work with her.
This is so far the most difficult situation for him involving his ex, who caused him a lot of pain and frustrations. What Hannah did in the past is unforgivable, but she returns like nothing happened years back. However, things get even more complicated when Hannah claims she has "valuable information" for Magnum. She said it will explain all her actions, whether she indeed betrayed him or if she's done it just to protect him.
Still, it's hard to believe if she's telling the truth, especially she's known to be "devious" and "dangerous." She could possibly ruin Magnum's life at any moment, once again. However, the preview shows Hannah is likely telling the truth but what if it's just a strategy to get to him? Is it possible Magnum will rekindle his romance with Hannah?
He'll do everything for her but will only complicate things in the end, yet Magnum becomes attached to her. If ever she'll reveal the truth about her betraying him in the past, would it be enough to justify things especially she's done something unforgivable? These might be tackled in Magnum P.I season 2.
Aside from the return of Hannah, Magnum P.I. episode 20 will also show how Magnum's future will change with Higgins, he makes an earnest proposition to her to become his private investigations partner. It's highly possible the duo will have more point of partnership in the second season as he doesn't need to ask favors anymore because she's now a part of every mission. Thomas does not really make a lot of cash on his missions, but being with Higgins might force him to actually try to take actual and profitable cases.
Magnum P.I. episode 20 will air on Monday, April 1, on the CBS Television Network.
