With the success of the first movie, the hopes are high for the upcoming IT: Chapter 2. Jessica Chastain, who plays the role of Beverly Marsh, teases the film will be at its goriest, while the trailer will reportedly drop very soon.
IT: Chapter 2's plot and official cast members are already revealed earlier, but there are no words yet about its trailer. Fans have been waiting to see the sequel movie's official promotional video to have a glimpse of what will happen next to the supernatural horror film.
According to Express.co.uk, there are signs that IT: Chapter 2 trailer is about to come out in a few days. Just like the original film, the sequel movie will be out in September. IT teaser came out on March 29, 2018. As the two movies have the same timeline, the second film's promotional clip should have arrived anytime now.
There are theories IT: Chapter 2 trailer will be seen when Pet Sematary hits the cinemas on Friday, April 5. The film may bring in the target audience for the movie, given that it is also based on Stephen King's classic novel.
If IT: Chapter 2 video teaser comes out this week, then there is a high possibility that it will be included in the trailers that will be seen on Pet Sematary. Just like when Dumbo reveals Shazam! trailer, the same thing may happen on the two Stephen King movies because of their similar themes.
Meanwhile, talking about the film, Chastain revealed IT: Chapter 2 would have one of the bloodiest scenes in the horror movie's history. In her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the 42-year-old star teased her revelation might put her in trouble, but she did it anyway.
"It might be a spoiler, but in the movie, there's a scene...someone said on set that it's the most blood that's ever been in a horror film...in a scene," Chastain said. "The next day I was pulling blood out of my eyeballs."
Although Chastain didn't exactly reveal what would happen to her character, Geeks of Doom reported it might be a recurring thing for Beverly after she also drenched with blood in the original film. In IT, her young self was hit with a "geyser of blood" when she looked down her bathroom sink, so it might happen again in IT: Chapter 2.
IT: Chapter 2 will be out on September 6 with new stars like Chastain, James McAvoy, Jay Ryan, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone, and Andy Bean as the older members of The Losers Club. Jaeden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Wyatt Oleff will also return as the younger Losers.
