According to the official synopsis of the new episode, Elizabeth is already preparing herself to declare her candidacy for president in the upcoming elections. In a way, this means that she's already decided to run. However, the next installment of Madam Secretary may not be that pleasing for the Secretary of The State.
Aside from officially declaring her candidacy, the media will consequently interfere with her declaration by releasing scandalous news that can entirely shatter her plans.
