Ben Affleck, once again, made it to the headlines of several tabloids and magazines. And whether it may be with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, or with his girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus, the headlines seem to pick-up all of the actor's trails.
In a report that circulated the media earlier this week, it has been claimed that Ben Affleck and Saturday Night Live producer, Lindsay Shookus, are having a baby anytime soon. And the main reason as to why such rumors have surfaced is due to a shopping bag that comes with a print indicating items for a baby.
As it happens, Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus are spotted at Bed Bath & Beyond in Santa Monica while the couple was checking a few items in the store. Upon shopping, the two stars are seen to be holding a shopping bag with a print that reads Buy Buy Baby.
From the prints of the shopping bag alone, reporters from several tabloids already concluded that Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus are preparing for a baby that is on the way. And this is not surprising at all considering that these tabloids always conclude things from minimal pieces of evidence.
Naturally, Gossip Cop entered the scene and revealed that none of these things are true. Buy Buy Baby is a brand that offers and sells items designed for babies and infants. And this brand is owned by Bed Bath & Beyond which is why the said brand is offered inside the store.
As for the shopping bag, one side of the bag has the print that reads Buy Buy Baby. But these tabloids failed to mention that the other side of the bag has the print of Bed Bath & Beyond as well. And this partially proves that the items inside the bag can be anything other than baby merchandises.
The publication also mentioned that a paparazzi was able to capture photos of the items. And based on the photos, they revealed that the couple is buying linens, pillows, and other bedding items.
While these pieces of evidence are enough to disprove the claims of the tabloids, Gossip Cop still went on to reach the couple. Although the couple was not able to speak on the record, a spokesperson of the two stars assured the publication on their behalf that Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus are not pregnant at all. Thus, making the tabloids' reports bogus and untrue.
