Legendary mermaids, sisterhood problems, and adulthood challenges are some of the subjects that the three popular series from Freeform has been tackling in their respective plots. And as it appears, these shows are Siren, Good Trouble, Grown-ish.
For Freeform apparent viewers, these productions are currently on their respective breaks from the television. But during the annual summit of the network which was held a few days ago, it has been announced that all three shows will return soon. And this is just fitting since the fans of the respective series are already asking for more.
Siren is apparently on a four-month break after the series wrapped up its first half of the second season. According to Cartermatt, the mermaid drama series is set to return on July 11, on Freeform.
As for its plot, it is revealed that the second half of the current installment will pick up where it left off the last episode. And this will pretty much focus on Ben and Maddie's perspectives about the future of the mermaids. But while the second half of the installment is already sealed, there is no confirmation yet if there will be a renewal for another season of Siren.
For Good Trouble, this spin-off of another Freeform series, The Fosters, has already announced its premiere date for the second season long before the pilot season has ended on April 2. And based on the updates, the second season of the series will arrive on the network by June 18 of this year.
Of course, the show will continue to follow the Foster sisters, Mariana and Callie, in their chosen career paths. But as to what will exactly happen in the second installment, fans of Good Trouble will have to wait for a few weeks. Also, there are no teasers or trailers yet that have been released.
Meanwhile, the second season of Grown-ish will return for its next half on June 5. And there will be nine more episodes left before the series wraps up the current installment. Fortunately for the fandom of Grown-ish, Freeform has already announced the third season renewal of the series. However, the actual release date of the upcoming season is not yet revealed.
Even so, the remaining episodes of the said comedy sitcom series will pick up where the plot left off on the spring finale of the season. Moreover, it is also revealed that Grown-ish will explore issues about culture, mental health, and academic concerns when it returns.
